{"id":137,"date":"2023-09-21T17:38:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T22:38:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gworks-ec.com\/?page_id=137"},"modified":"2023-10-21T10:08:59","modified_gmt":"2023-10-21T15:08:59","slug":"contratacion-publica-en-el-ecuador","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gworks-ec.com\/en\/contratacion-publica-en-el-ecuador\/","title":{"rendered":"Public procurement in Ecuador"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dynamic report.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Public procurement in Ecuador plays a fundamental role in promoting transparency, efficiency and equity in public procurement, which drives the economic and social development of the country, improving productivity and multi-sector economic inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In 2022, public procurement represented <strong>22.7% of the General State Budget (PGE)<\/strong> and <strong>6.6% of PIB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>With the use of open source data OCDS (Open Contracting Data Standard) obtained from the Servicio Nacional de Contrataci\u00f3n P\u00fablica del Ecuador (SERCOP) and World Bank Group, the implementation of this project was carried out, which aims to highlight the importance and impact of government procurement in the context of PIB and the unemployment rate in Ecuador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it is possible to project and anticipate trends in public procurement over a period of five years, ensuring that this initiative will become a valuable tool to guide the Public Administration in the formulation of public policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#40404061\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Reporte compras publicas\" width=\"1024\" height=\"520\" src=\"https:\/\/app.powerbi.com\/view?r=eyJrIjoiYjk5YWJlYTctYzkwZi00MTk0LTkzNGEtMGIyYzY2NDEwYzhhIiwidCI6IjYyMDM3Mjk3LTQ3YWItNGNjZC1hNGRmLWRmNGFiMTE5MDM5OSIsImMiOjR9\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project was developed as part of the competition <strong><em>IAckathon 2023, &#8220;Innovando la Contrataci\u00f3n P\u00fablica con Inteligencia Artificial&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>, getting the <a href=\"https:\/\/ia.comprasabiertas.org\/#ganadores\"><strong>First place<\/strong><\/a> in Algorithm and Visualization category (September, 2023).
